Trim Levels
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson is available in six trim packages including the SE, Value, SEL, Sport, Limited and Ultimate. All models are equipped with automatic headlights, a roof-mounted center high-mount stoplight, and a shark-fin roof antenna. The Sport, Limited, and Ultimate models also have daytime running lights, LED headlights and taillights, fog lights, and a hands-free smart liftgate. Except for the SE, all models are equipped with roof side rails. High beam assist and a panoramic sunroof are features found only on the Tucson Ultimate.
Engine
The SE and Value models are equipped with a 161-horsepower, 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 150 pound-feet of torque. The SEL, Sport, Limited, and Ultimate models feature a 181-horsepower, 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 175 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed transmission is standard on all 2020 Tucson models. Front-wheel drive is standard on all models with an available all-wheel-drive option.
Performance
The SE and Value models boast a fuel economy of 23 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The SEL, Sport, Limited, and Ultimate models are slightly lower at 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway. Fuel economy is slightly lower for all-wheel-drive models. The Tucson has cargo room to spare with 31 cubic-feet of space behind the second row and 61.9 cubic-feet behind the front seats.
Interior
Cloth seats are standard on the SE, Value, SEL, and Sport models. The Limited and Ultimate models feature leather upholstery. Except for the SE, all models have heated front seats. The Ultimate also has ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. Every Tucson is equipped with 60/40 split fold-down rear seats and a dual-level cargo floor.
The Tucson features state-of-the-art infotainment. Standard features on all models include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, front USB and auxiliary outlets, a rearview camera, and a 12-volt outlet. Audio, Bluetooth, and cruise controls are easy to find on the steering wheel. The SE, Value, SEL, Sport, and Limited models have a 7-inch touch-screen display and a six-speaker audio system. The Tucson Ultimate has an 8-inch color touch screen and built-in navigation. An Infinity audio system and wireless device charging are standard on the Sport, Limited, and Ultimate models.
Safety Features
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson is loaded with safety features. Driver attention warning, lane-keep assist, forward collision-avoidance assist, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, traction control, vehicle stability management, and brake assist are standard on all models. Advanced air bags are standard on all Tucsons. Except for the SE, all models also have blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision warning, and Hyundai's Blue Link Connected Car System. The Blue Link System allows you to remotely stop, start, lock, and unlock your Tucson. In addition to all these features, the Tucson Ultimate also has pedestrian detection and smart cruise control.
