Hot Restaurants in FlagstaffIf you’re a foodie in the Flagstaff area, keep reading. There are some great restaurants in the area, and if you haven’t been yet, you better go soon. Here’s a look at some of the hottest eateries you’re sure to love in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Black Bart’s Steakhouse

Located on East Butler Avenue in Flagstaff, Black Bart’s is so much more than a steakhouse; it’s an institution. Every night the staff perform, singing and dancing to all of your Broadway hits, music from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, and Disney classics.

But yes, you can get a delicious steak at Black Bart’s. Steaks are grilled to perfection over an open oak-fired grill. Don’t start with a steak, though. Enjoy a shrimp cocktail or chicken wing appetizer first.

Now you’re ready to order your steak. Choose between the tender filet mignon, New York strip steak, cowboy rib eye, or go big with a T-bone or porterhouse. Every steak is cooked to order, and it comes with a house Caesar or side salad, and a side of your choice. Cowboy beans, steak fries, and sweet potato fries are just a few of the options.

Be sure to save room for dessert. The homemade cobbler is to die for, and the cheesecake might be the best outside of New York. The chocolate cake is perfect for those who adore chocolate. Rich cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate sauce check all the chocolate boxes.

FLG Terroir

FLG Terroir is one of Flagstaff’s chic wine bars that features a robust wine list and a menu to match. Mostly small plates and sharable platters fill out the menu, but it has some of the more unique dishes in town.

Oysters on the half-shell pair well with Jean Aubron Sauvignon Blanc from Loire, France. Caviar served in the traditional style with blinis and creme fraiche are better with a glass of Hooked Reisling from Mosul.

Share the butter bean hummus and black garlic baba ganoush with a friend while you sip on a glass of Left Coast Pinot Noir from Willamette. If you’re feeling adventurous, you should try the cassoulet of white beans, pulled pork, and spicy sausage, and enjoy a glass of Paco & Lola Albarino.

Tinderbox Kitchen

This Flagstaff restaurant may be part of a chain, but the food and wine have been winning acclaim for years. Located on South San Francisco Street, Tinderbox Kitchen serves up American cuisine with flair and style.

Begin your culinary adventure with a savory bowl of Butternut Squash bisque or Cauliflower bisque. Braised pork belly in a hoisin sauce with kimchi departs America for Korea, but we can forgive the chef for this decadent appetizer.

Order a rib eye or filet mignon, and expect perfection on a plate. Seared sea scallops surrounded by baby carrots, Brussels sprouts, and a truffle cauliflower puree will wow your taste buds. Other notables are the lamb pot pie, braised short ribs, and a bison burger.

There are some great restaurants in Flagstaff these days. The next time you feel like getting adventurous with your cuisine, you should check out one of these great places.
