Hyundai Service Schedule and Mileage: When Should You Get Service? You know how important it is to have your vehicle regularly serviced. You love your Hyundai, and you want it to be in good working shape for the entirety of its life—which you surely hope is long! To ensure that your car stays in the best shape possible, follow this Hyundai service schedule.

Do You Need an Extended Warranty?

If something were to go wrong with your Hyundai, you would certainly kick yourself for not opting in to the extended warranty. It offers five years or 60,000 miles of comprehensive coverage and 10 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage. But just because you have the extended warranty doesn’t mean you can neglect your vehicle by avoiding regular maintenance.

Hyundai Service Schedule: Every 7,500 Miles

Depending upon the engine your Hyundai contains, the manufacturer recommends a check-up every 6,000 or 7,500 miles. During this regular maintenance, your mechanic will do the following:

  • Change the oil filter and synthetic oil
  • Replace the in-cabin air filter
  • Rotate the tires
  • Examine the brake pads
  • Check the engine’s air filter
  • Look at the wipers
  • Ensure the tire pressure is correct
  • Inspect for fluid leaks
  • Visually check the suspension and chassis components

Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance

Complimentary maintenance is available for 2020 Hyundai models that were purchased on or after February 1, 2020. This maintenance plan covers tire rotations and oil changes at regular intervals, as mentioned above.

The importance of regularly servicing your Hyundai vehicle cannot be stressed enough. It’s the main way to keep your car running at its best! Schedule a service appointment today with Oxendale Hyundai!
