Sonata's SE, SEL and SEL Convenience trims feature a silky 2.5L Smartstream 4-cylinder engine that delivers 191 hp in concert with its 8-speed automatic transmission. Prefer acceleration that presses you further back into your seat Sonata N Line puts 311 lb-ft of torque underfoot with a 290-hp 2.5L Smartstream Turbo engine under the hood.

On Hybrid models, a 2.0L Smartstream hybrid 4-cylinder engine with 192 net hp and a 6-speed automatic combine for big fuel economy numbers. How big? Up to an EPA-estimated 44 MPG in the city and 51 MPG on the highway, with up to 620 miles of driving range.
